Team coach help
Team coach mode is for a group schedule: Practice and Game, a code that lasts for the season, and notes parents can read on the session.
Switch to Team coach
- Log in and tap Team coach at the top.
- The same person can be both a Coach and a Team coach. Skaters will see two chips: Coach — your name, and Team Coach — your name.
Practice and Game
- Tap a session to cycle off → Practice → Game → off.
- The label is meant to be easy to see. Linked skaters always see these sessions. If their filters would hide that type of ice, the row stays on the list but looks grey.
- There is no claim step. Practice and Game are simply on the team calendar.
- If you already marked Practice or Game, Coach mode will not let you overwrite it with Available / Taken.
The button saves a moment after you stop tapping, so you can flip Practice / Game without waiting on each tap. If you change a session again after it has been set, the app may ask you to confirm so a pocket tap does not wipe a Game.
Share with the team
- Tap Share with team and copy the code.
- Team codes last about three months and can be used by many skaters. They do not burn after one use.
- Skaters add you with Add a coach and that code. They should see Team Coach — your name.
Notes for families
- A note you add on a Practice or Game session is pushed to skaters linked to this team role.
- They see it on the session itself. They can add a personal note under it (pickup, which child) that does not come back to you.
Remove this team
- That button clears Practice / Game marks, notes on those sessions, and team share codes.
- It does not delete your login. It does not clear Coach Available / Taken marks.
- Star sessions if you want rink-change or removal mail for that ice.
- In Skater mode, Watch Schedule plus Set watch (14 days) is how a parent watches for newly posted Public or Freestyle ice.
- Nothing emails after a session has started. Overnight items batch around 6 AM.
